hypnotherapy is a solution oriented approach to therapy that is often focused around a particular goal – managing anxiety, or quitting smoking for example – but it is also a powerful tool for navigating your inner landscape.

i use hypnosis in my counselling practice because it allows my clients to move beyond their familiar thought patterns and use their emotions as a means of exploration. our subconscious mind is our creative mind, and i find that incorporating trance work empowers clients to generate their own symbols, imagery, and narratives to create significant shifts in both their inner and outer world.

it’s also incredibly relaxing, and i believe there is therapeutic benefit in giving our minds (and bodies) an opportunity to rest and step back from our familiar patterns, even if it’s only for an hour.
